Calculating moles?

i did an experiment and the moles of iodine formed was 7/3750

and i'm supposed to know use the equation

ascorbic acid+I² → 2 Iˉ +dehydroascorbic acid

to find the moles of ascorbic acid

after i have to calculate the concentration in mol Lˉ¹

except, i don't know how!

help?

btw, i'm only a freshman in high school

and i'm taking biology

so this whole moles thing is new to me.

Calculating moles?
Moles are simply the atomic mass of an element or compound expressed in grams. e.g. one mole of oxygen gas (O2) would weigh 2 x 16g = 32 g. One mole of MgO would weigh 24.3 + 16 = 40.6g.

Get your balanced equation of Asc. acid + I2 -%26gt; products and simply convert to masses
