Can moles grow/is this even a mole?

I have a mole on my back (I think). It's light brown. I discovered it because it's right where my bra sets on my back and it rubbed up against it and itched. I thought it was a bite at first. But it never went away. I have had it for about 6 months now. It used to itch so bad when I first got it. It doesn't itch anymore.


It's grown a tiny amount too. Can moles grow? It's only grown a tiny bit but it has grown. Is it a mole or is it something totally different?

Probably a mole but could be something worse - go see a dermatologist.
Reply:It's hard to say if it's a mole or not without seeing it, but there are a couple of signs with moles that can indicate possible skin cancer:





-bigger than a pencil eraser


-irregular shape


-irregular border


-more than one color


-changes in shape size or color





If you have any of these (sounds like it has been changing size on you), you should have it checked out by a doctor to make sure it's not cancerous.





Since you don't know what it is and it's not going away, you should probably have it checked out.

Reply:Do you sit in a SAUNA [steam bath]?.....If yes then pls don't do it again.........I took steam bath for 20 days and it just spoiled my back,,,,,,,,A big mole like thing appeard.After some days i came to know that it just kills the moisture of the skin,,,,,from that i learnt a lesson that never to sit in a sauna again.





I reccomend you to go to a skin specialist,,,,,,Don't neglect it.
