Skin moles removed?

I have a 'birth' mole on my bottom. every girl in my family has one , but i hate it. I don't feel right- i mean like im afraid people will see it and when iwant to wear thongs to avoid panty lines in my cheer bloomers you can see the mole [before i put the shorts on] I want to know is there any way you can get moles removed, and how- i already know it will leave some scaring but it wont show too much on pale skin right?

It kinda looks like some one just painted a big ugly brown spot on my skin! :( anyways please help!

Skin moles removed?
Simply go to a dermatologist and ask about getting this mole removed. They do this regularly. It is simple, and they can do it painlessly.

Reply:I used to have two moles on my neck which I hated because they used to snag on my necklaces all the time and it hurt. I went to my regular doctor. All he did was give me a small local anesthetic shot, and then remove them. I am not sure what he was doing, since it was on my neck I couldnt see, but other than the shot it did not hurt at all, and it only needed to be covered up with a band-aid for maybe a week. It did leave a small scar where the mole used to be, but it is so light and small no one would really notice it but me. The procedure only took about 10 minutes maybe. Very easy. I cant believe I waited so long to do it.
Reply:How big is this? I think it can be removed surgically. I have had one removed but it was raised and not a birth mark but a mole. It was the same colour though. That was 6 years ago and I still have the scar. Depending on how pale your skin is and how it deals with scars, they might be visible for quite a while. In the beginning they would be red and very visible though. And it kinda sux if its on your bottom as it would be uncomfortable for you to sit down for a while. If you ask me, I wouldn't remove it. I have like 150 moles all over my body, all of them this colour and very visible. It drives me nuts, I can't even go to the beach and feel normal...
