Producing Moles/Balancing equation - Easy Best Answer - CHEM?

Could someone please help me out, i don't understand. Answer and I'll give ytou best answer,,,

How many moles of butane would I need to produce 10 moles of CO2 by reaction with oxygen? (you need to balance the equation first)

How many moles of ammonia are produced when 2.5 moles of nitrogen are reacted with hydrogen?

How many moles of hydrogen are required to react with the amount of nitrogen in the previous question?

Producing Moles/Balancing equation - Easy Best Answer - CHEM?
butane:

unbalanced quation:

c4h10 + o2 --%26gt; co2 + h20 right?

initial balanced:

c4h10 + 6.5 o2 --%26gt; 4 co2 + 5 h2o

final balance

2 C4H10 + 13 O2 --%26gt; 8 CO2 + 10 H2O

2mols bu for ever 8 co2 produced given 10 x 2/8 = 2.5

unbalanced

N2 + H2 --%26gt; NH3

then N2 + 3 H2 --%26gt; 2 NH3

you get 2 moles of ammonia per mole of nitrogen so 5 moles ammonia.

you need 3 moles of hydrogen per mole of nitrogen so 7.5.
