New moles - Cause for concern?

I have 2 new moles - One on my stomach and one just below my armpit. Should I be concerned? I've been told by some people not to worry and this is natural but others say to go get it checked out.

The one under my armpit is fine, its just like a regular mole, but the on on my stomach is much smaller - more like a pimple or a scab, and it itches like crazy. (its not a pimple)

Its also appeared right next to my other mole (which is massive, embarassing)

New moles - Cause for concern?
Dark (almost black) or irregularly shaped moles are a cause for concern.
Reply:Moles are not suppose to be itching. Go to your doctor right away.
Reply:If you are concerned I would get them seen about. I would look at the size, shape and color( even if you have to take pictures) that way you would notice any changes. If it gets darker, starts to drain, or the boarders are irregular then get it check out immediatly. Many times if a mole is cancerous they doctor can remove it and you wouldn't have any more problems.
Reply:I would go to the doctors and have it removed. It hurts a little but its worth it.
Reply:A- asymmetry. Suspicious mole does not look like a round or oval blot. Often, early melanoma looks rather like a blot with an odd shape.

B- borders. Borders become irregular, uneven, fuzzy. The edges of the blots become notched.

C- color. Color of normal mole should be more or less homogenous. Change in color is very suspicious . There are shades of brown, black, tan, red. Mottled color is suspicious.

D- diameter. Change in diameter is suspicious too. Mole that is bigger than 6 mm is suspicious. Everybody compares 6 mm to a pencil eraser (though few people actually use it extensively). Just to get idea about the borderline size.
